Injured Mueller Industries employee undergoes surgery

FULTON – The woman who was injured Wednesday at Mueller Copper Tubes in Fulton was reported in good condition after surgery.
A Muller spokesperson said Angela Sheffield suffered burns to her feet while working in the Fulton plant’s casting facility. The spokesperson said Sheffield’s prognosis was said to be good after her surgery.
She was taken to the Crossgates River Oaks Burn Center in Brandon.
Sheffield has worked for the plant since 1995.
The incident is still under investigation.
