JACKSON — Police say the owner of an upscale restaurant in downtown Jackson has been killed in a car crash.

WAPT-TV reports that Craig Noone, the owner of Parlor Market, was killed when the Chevrolet Tahoe he was driving collided with a Ford Taurus at the intersection of West and Capitol streets, not far from the restaurant.

Jackson police spokeswoman Colendula Green tells The Associated Press that Noone was killed in the crash that occurred about 1 a.m. Friday.

One passenger was in Noone’s vehicle and two people were in the Taurus. Their injuries were not believed to be severe.

Noone opened Parlor Market at 115 W. Capitol St. a little more than a year ago. It focuses on regional and seasonal cuisine.
