Journal collecting letters to Santa

djournal-holiday-christmas-santaDaily Journal

You’ve still got a little time to sit down and write your letters to Santa Claus. The deadline for receiving letters at the Daily Journal has been extended to Monday, Dec. 9.

Please include in your letters your names, ages and the town or community in which you live. Then mail it to the North Pole in care of The Daily Journal, P.O. Box 909, Tupelo, MS 38802-0909. If you prefer, you may email your letters to Santa at judy.mcghee@journalinc.com. Or you may drop them by the front desk.

Teachers, parents

We will not print mass-produced form letters from entire classes.

We aren’t looking for a lot of parent-produced letters, either. Christmas is for children, so encourage them to have fun with their letters.

Any fun artwork sent with Santa letters will be considered for publication as well.

This year’s Santa letters will be published in a special section in our Christmas Eve newspaper.

Santa letters arriving after Monday, Dec. 9, will not appear in the paper. But, don’t worry. The late letters will be forwarded to Santa at the North Pole.

Santa and his elves are waiting to hear from you.
