TUPELO – Joyner Elementary students will return to school on Monday. Kindergartners will report to Church Street School and first- and second-graders to Joyner’s campus.

The school will open at 7:15 a.m. on both campuses, and classes will begin at 7:45. Dismissal will be at 2:45 p.m. Parents who want to walk in with their children should park in the lots next to Robins Field or Rob Leake City Park.

Crews have been working since last Tuesday to get both schools ready. A security officer will be at both locations.

Any parents needing help with transportation should contact Transportation Director Lee Stratton at (662) 841-8909 or rlstratton@tupeloschools.com. The district will pick up displaced students, including those staying in hotels.
