Judge reschedules trial in Tishomingo County marijuana case

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — A federal judge has rescheduled the trial of a man charged with the possession with intent to distribute 48 kilograms of marijuana in Tishomingo County in September 2011.

Nerio Reyna has been scheduled for trial later this month in U.S. District Court in Oxford, but his attorney asked for more time to prepare. The trial is now scheduled for Oct. 21.

Reyna has pleaded not guilty. He was indicted in September 2011.
