Jury trial scheduled in bank robbery case

OXFORD – Danny Vanness Broyles of the Prairie community is set for trial Jan. 24 on federal bank robbery charges.
Broyles, 35, was indicted March 25 for the March 19 armed robbery of the Cadence Bank on Highway 145 in Aberdeen.
Chief U.S. District Judge Michael P. Mills is scheduled to preside over the jury trial in Oxford.
If convicted, Broyles faces a minimum of seven years up to life in prison on the two counts.
