Juvenile charged with aggravated assault, discharging firearm

ABERDEEN – The Aberdeen Police Department arrested a juvenile Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault and discharging a firearm inside the city limits.

According to APD investigator Kelly Drake, the incident happened at approximately 4 p.m. on Clay Street. Drake said two juveniles got into an argument over a girl, which led the juvenile to shoot at the other.

The APD recovered the firearm and the juvenile is awaiting a hearing in juvenile court.
