CORINTH — Hardwick Kay has been named temporary chairman of the Crossroads Arena Board.
The Daily Corinthian reports Kay, a board member since 1996, takes over after longtime chairman Bill Strickland was not reappointed to the board.
Alva Dalton will take over as board vice chairman.
The Crossroads Arena receives funding from a Corinth tourism tax of 2 percent which is equally divided with the Corinth Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. The tax funding can be used only to retire debt or for capital improvements.
