Lafayette announces recent arrests

OXFORD – The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department issued an announcement Friday listing several recent felony arrests not previously disclosed in daily reports.

On March 4, Guy P. Salmon, 39, of Como, was charged with three counts of sexual battery. Bond was set at $250,000.

On March 13, Bobby Griffin, 24, of Oxford, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Bond was set at $15,000 but was revoked.

On March 13, Benjamin Dewayne Raymond, 19, of Oxford, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Bond was set at $15,000 but was revoked.

On March 19, Cody Tyrone Tutor, 26, of Batesville, was charged with grand larceny and felon in possession of a weapon. Bond was set at $20,000, but a hold was ordered.
