Lane of I-40 bridge at W. Memphis to be closed

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department says one lane of the Interstate 40 bridge that connects West Memphis with Memphis, Tenn., will be closed for inspection.

The department says in a news release that crews will be inspecting the bridge over the Mississippi River and one westbound, outside lane will be closed Monday through Thursday. The department says the inspection is routine.

The lane will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day.
