TUPELO – The Lee County School Board approved makeup dates Tuesday for the three days in January that students missed because of snow and dangerous roads.
Students and teachers will now attend classes on Feb. 18, which had been Industry Education Day. They also will have classes on Easter Monday, April 25, and on May 26, which was added to the end of the school year. Teachers also will have to report on May 27.
The district canceled its remaining 60 percent days to allow for full instruction on those days.
Lee County already added one day to the end of its year, May 25, to replace a snow day from December.
