Liquor vote scheduled in Prentiss County

By The Associated Press

BOONEVILLE — Prentiss County residents will vote Dec. 14 on whether to legalize the sale of liquor.

Polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.

The issue is similar to one rejected by Booneville voters three months ago. Booneville voters defeated a proposal to sell beer and light wine inside the city.

The Prentiss County Circuit Clerk’s office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday for absentee voting.
