K.C. Integrated Services, a Carleton, Mich.-based logistics company, will hire about 100 employees once it’s fully operational at its future Northeast Mississippi facility, the Biz Buzz blog reports.
For now, the company is temporarily housed in New Albany while it looks for a permanent home.
Phil Nanney, the executive director of the Union County Development Association, said K.C. Integrated Services prefers to be “very close” to Toyota and wants to be as near as possible to the Blue Springs plant. The company could wind up in Blue Springs or New Albany.
K.C. Integrated will deliver merchandise to Toyota via short term warehousing and on-time delivery.
