JACKSON – Mississippi Lt. Gov. Amy Tuck will return to her alma mater when she leaves office in January.
Tuck announced Tuesday she has accepted a position as special assistant to MSU President Robert H. “Doc” Foglesong.
A Maben native, Tuck received her undergraduate degree in political science from MSU in 1985 and a master’s in public policy and administration in 1994.
“I am looking forward to my new role and the opportunity to work with President Foglesong, the faculty, staff, students and alumni,” Tuck said.
“My undergraduate and graduate experience at Mississippi State provided me with a wonderful educational experience that has served me well in my career as a public servant,” she noted,” and I look forward to providing assistance to President Foglesong as he leads Mississippi State University into an exciting future.”
