HOLLY SPRINGS — Bond has been set at $1 million for a 22-year-old man charged with capital murder in the slaying of his sister and a man she was living with.

The Commercial Appeal reports bond for Justin Crumb was set Thursday during an appearance in city court. He was returned to the Marshall County Jail.

Police say 24-year-old Octavia Crumb and 28-year-old Darrell Findley were found dead in their home on Sunday.

Authorities say Justin Crumb walked to a nearby fire station after the shooting and turned himself in. It was not immediately clear whether he had an attorney.

Officials say a 4-year-old and a newborn were in the home at the time of the shooting but weren’t injured. The children are with relatives.
