Man charged with burglary

VERONA – Bond was set at $25,000 for a man accused of robbing a Verona business Monday night.
Kerrius Hunter, 18, of 4924 Raymond Ave., is charged with the burglary of a commercial building for allegedly breaking into Colonial Cleaners in Verona. Police Chief Leo Mask said Hunter took money, checks and clothes from the business.
He said some of the items were recovered.
Hunter’s brother, Alexander Hunter, 20, was charged with armed robbery last week, accused of robbing the Super C Tobacco Store and hitting the clerk in the head with a hammer.
