CORINTH – A search warrant in Alcorn County led to the arrest of a man in connection with some auto burglaries in Oktibbeha County.
Scotty Wayne Hollis, 31, of 2 County Road 751, Walnut was charged with receiving stolen property. The investigation started in Oktibbeha County and on the Mississippi State University campus and ended in Alcorn when information surfaced that stolen property was being stored in Alcorn County at two locations.
Several car burglaries were investigated where several iPods and laptops had been taken.
Hollis was allegedly caught in possession of some of the items. His bond was set at $5,000.
