Man faces bond revocation hearing in fraud case

GULFPORT – Court records indicate that an Ocean Springs man convicted of bank fraud is facing a bond revocation hearing.
Aaron Walker pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in April to one count of federal bank fraud.
Court records didn’t indicate why Walker faces the bond revocation hearing Tuesday. His sentencing date is set for March 11.
Prosecutors say Walker admitted using more than $65,000 in insurance money for personal use.
Walker deposited an insurance check, issued in August 2007 for a fire claim at his residence, into his personal bank account at Hancock Bank. Prosecutors say he had falsely endorsed the names of his wife and his mortgage holder, Wells Fargo Bank.
