ABERDEEN – A Corinth man was sentenced Tuesday to five years in prison for his involvement in a cocaine distribution ring.

Jay Hill, 30, was charged in 2012, along with nine others, for conspiring to distribute cocaine throughout the region.

Hill initially pleaded not guilty but changed his plea in October.

He will be on post-release supervision for three years following his prison stay and is ordered to pay a $100 assessment.

Hill is the ninth in the ring to plea and be sentenced.
