Man held in slaying of couple

HOLLY SPRINGS – A Holly Springs man has been arrested in the deaths of his sister and another man.
The two adults were found dead in their Holly Springs home late Sunday night after gunfire was reported in the area.
At about 10:50 p.m., police officers discovered the bodies of Octavia Crumb, 24, and Darrell Findley, 28, who both resided at the home at 150 N. Memphis St.
Two children – one 4 years old and the other less than a month old – were also found on the premises.
They were uninjured and were turned over to the custody of relatives.
Police could not confirm whether the Crumb and Findley were parents of the children.
Justin Crumb, 22, whose address was also listed as 150 N. Memphis St., was arrested and is in custody in the Marshall County Jail.
Justin Crumb, who was identified as Octavia Crumb’s brother, has not been formally charged, but charges are expected today.
