IUKA – Authorities in Lowndes and Tishomingo counties are seeking information on the whereabouts of an Iuka man who hasn’t been heard from since early December.
The 1993 blue Ford Explorer registered to Robert Paul Martindale, 55, was found in Lowndes County last weekend, but he was not with it.
Family members in Iuka report they haven’t heard from Martindale, a truck driver by profession, since Dec. 6, said a Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson. Since his job takes him on the road, they said it is not unusual to go for short periods without contact.
A missing person search has been initiated.
Martindale is described as 6 feet tall, weighs 190 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair, and tattoos on his left forearm and right hand.
Anyone with information about Martindale is asked to call the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office at (662) 423-7000 or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi at (800) 773-8477.
