Man sentenced to jail for three DUI charges

CORINTH – A Pontotoc man pleaded guilty in Alcorn County Circuit Court on Thursday to three charges of driving under the influence.

Jackie Lynn Bard, 50, formerly of Corinth, was sentenced by Judge Paul Funderburk to consecutive sentences on each of the three counts: DUI first offense, five years with four years suspended and one to serve, followed by four years post-release supervision with drug court; DUI second offense, five years with three years suspended; and DUI third offense, five years with three years suspended. Added up, he will serve a total of five years.
