ABERDEEN – A 19-year-old New Site man’s trial on federal charges he made threats over social media is now scheduled for Aug. 12 in Aberdeen.
Robert Scott Goodin pleaded not guilty in March to charges of interstate communication of threats to the George E. Allen Library in Booneville.
The new trial date was set this week. Goodin was originally scheduled for trial in May but it was delayed for a mental evaluation.
The criminal complaint says Goodin told a library worker about “thoughts of killing people in the library” while he was there.
