The McDonald’s on Eason Boulevard officially opened this morning at 5 a.m. By the time a ribbon-cutting was held at 9 a.m., the parking lot was full.
Don’t know how long it will be, but I’m guessing a traffic signal will be needed soon. With traffic going in/out of McDonald’s and the Sprint Mart next to it, it’s going to be crazy.
Anyway, the restaurant, like all new MdDonald’s it seems these days, doesn’t have a playground. The contemporary design inside the restaurant doesn’t scream McDonald’s either. It’s nice – you’ll have to check it out soon.
The restaurant, by the way, employs about 100 people, twice as many as the location it replaced on South Gloster.
