Miss. State student drowns

A Mississippi State student has drowned in Oktibbeha County.

Max Miller, a native of West Point, suffered a seizure while fishing. He fell into the water and drowned, according to Oktibbeha County Coroner Michael Hunt.

The body was recovered from a lake in the Ridge Lakes area, north of Starkville off Rock Hill Road. The body was found Thursday afternoon.

Miller was last seen alive Tuesday, Hunt said.
