OXFORD — A former Post Office employee in north Mississippi has pleaded guilty to stealing mail that contained money or gift cards.

Yolanda R. Jones pleaded guilty to one count on Monday. She faces up to five years in prison and up to a $250,000 fine.

The indictment in the case said Jones took letters that contained money or gift cards on several occasions in July 2001. She was indicted last year on four counts.
