ABERDEEN – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is implementing a new program called the Elderly Check-In Program, which consists of a daily call to elderly residents at a set time to make sure they are OK.
“If we do not make contact with the resident, we will send a deputy out to check on them,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Residents wanting to be put on the check-in call list can now contact the Sheriff’s Office at (662) 369-2468.
