ABERDEEN – Timothy Rydell Montgomery of Tupelo faces four federal firearms charges.
Montgomery, 30, is set to hear a formal reading of the charges today before Magistrate Judge Jerry Davis in Aberdeen.
A February grand jury accused him of stealing three firearms and money from Golden Exchange pawn shop in Nettleton and transporting the goods to Verona.
A fourth count accuses him as a convicted felon of illegally possessing firearms. If convicted of all counts, he faces up to 35 years in prison and $1 million fine.
The indictment claims another man assisted Montgomery in the theft, but he is not named as a defendant.
