OXFORD — For $30 a month, interested parties can view records filed at the Lafayette County Chancery Court.
Chancery Clerk Sherry Wall tells the Oxford Eagle that subscribers will have access to all court records including child custody matters, divorces, wills and trusts and name changes. Adoption and youth court records are still sealed by state law.
Wall says he information went online Feb. 1 on a website operated by Delta Computer Systems.
Wall says records can still be looked up for free at the chancery clerk’s office.
Wall says land and deed records online searches also require a $30 subscription although users can save $10 if they subscribe to both land and court records.
