MOOREVILLE – A family lost its home in an early morning blaze, but everyone escaped harm.
Shortly after 8 a.m., a fire broke out in the back of a mobile home at 106A Highway 371. Louis Poutoa was home with his wife and child when he awoke on his couch to the smell of smoke. He quickly got everyone out of the trailer, and the Mooreville and Richmond fire units soon responded.
The trailer was a total loss.
A cause of the fire was not immediately known. The Journal will have information as it becomes available.
