COLUMBUS — Columbus police have now arrested four people in a Monday home invasion that left one person dead.
Police spokeswoman Officer Terrie Songer says 31-year-old Michael Ross was arrested Tuesday night at a car wash.
Ross is one of four people charged with murder in the shooting death of 35-year-old Eddie Bankhead on July 11.
Songer says Ross will not be eligible for bail because he already had a warrant out for possession of cocaine and violation of probation.
Of the others, Cortez Williams was denied bond, Omar Beard’s bond was set at $1 million and Derrick Bankhead’s bond was set at $350,000.
Police say two people, wearing bandanas over their faces, broke into a house and Bankhead was shot twice. He died Tuesday at Baptist Golden Triangle Hospital.
