TUPELO – Yet another round of snow is in the forecast for Northeast Mississippi.
The National Weather Service said rain is expected through today, with a chance of snow tonight. An accumulation of 1-2 inches is possible.
The forecast for Wednesday calls for a slight chance of snow before noon.
The area has had three snowfalls in the last two months, the first on Christmas, followed by the heavy snow of Jan. 9-10 and a dusting Thursday night.

Tonight: Rain and snow, becoming all snow after midnight. Low around 32. North northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Wednesday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 43. North northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 23. Northwest wind between 5 and 10 mph becoming calm.
