TUPELO – Ms. Ruth’s Diner, a popular lunch destination in Verona, has expanded into Tupelo.
Ms. Ruth’s Express quietly opened last week at the former Sir Antony’s location inside Gloster Creek Village.
Manager Johnette Bramlett said the express version serves the same casseroles, vegetables and desserts at the Verona location. The pricing is different, with the Tupelo location charging $7.50 for a lunch special of one meat, two sides, bread and a drink. The items are sold separately, as well.
The Gloster Creek location is open 10:30-1:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. The restaurant only accepts cash or checks – no credit or debit cards. At this point, the restaurant doesn’t have a phone number.
