MSU-bound lineman found dead at home

A offensive lineman from Tennessee who had planned to walk on at Mississippi State was found dead at his home on Thursday.
The Daily News Journal of Murfreesboro, Tenn., reported that Mitchell Maxwell had planned to move to the MSU campus on Monday.
Maxwell, 18, had beed working this summer as a lifeguard.
The cause of his death was not known.
“This is not supposed to happen. It’s not supposed to be like this,” said his father, Austin Maxwell, who survived military tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
“Every year you hear about a senior graduating and then dying. … You just never expect it to be yours.”
Maxwell was an All-Area selection as a senior at Riverdale High School.
