MSU women entertain Southern Miss tonight

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State’s women hope home is sweet to them.
The Lady Bulldogs (4-3), who fell out of the rankings following three consecutive losses at the Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands, will host Southern Miss (3-3) at 7 tonight at Humphrey Coliseum.
MSU lost to Texas, Rutgers and Southern Cal over the weekend. In those losses, the Lady Bulldogs shot a combined 32.2 percent from the floor, 20.3 percent from 3-point range.
Senior guard Alexis Rack leads State with 18.9 points per game.
Pauline Love, a 6-foot senior, leads USM with 18.7 points and 13.7 rebounds per game.
