Murder suspect has bond set

Bond was set Tuesday for an Amory murder suspect.

Christopher Lee Thompson, 46, of Amory, had bond set at $300,000 by Monroe County Justice Court Judge Adrian Haynes, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Thompson is accused of the deadly beating of Tommy Harlow, 50, at Harlow’s sister’s residence in Hamilton. Harlow died some time after midnight Sunday.

Thompson was arrested Sunday and charged with murder Monday.
