TUPELO — A nonprofit group that seeks money and political support for the National Park Service’s Natchez Trace Parkway is meeting this weekend in Tupelo.

The Friday and Saturday meetings of the Natchez Trace Parkway Association are dealing with several topics, including development of sites along the parkway.

The parkway from Natchez to Nashville was completed in 2005 but the association says in a news release that several historic sites along the road still need to be developed or restored.
