By NEMS Daily Journal

NETTLETON – The Nettleton School District will restructure its middle school next year into a Nettleton Upper Elementary (grades 4 and 5) and Nettleton Junior High (grades 6 to 8).
Those grade levels are currently located in separate buildings but had all been organized together as Nettleton Middle School.
Melissa Thomas will be the principal at the junior high, and Robert Black will be the upper elementary principal. Thomas had been the district’s curriculum coordinator for grades seven to 12, and Black had been a high school counselor.
Van Ross, who was Nettleton Middle’s principal, will be the district’s curriculum coordinator for grades K-12.
