New Albany teacher-coach pleads guilty in sex case

NEW ALBANY – District Attorney Ben Creekmore said today that a New Albany High School coach and teacher has pleaded guilty to touching a child for lustful purposes by a person in a position of trust.
Taylor Nichols was sentenced to 15 years in prison and five years of probation, but the 15-year prison term was suspended.
Nichols was accused of kissing a female student.
He must register as a sex offender and avoid contact with or identification of his victim.
