New Alcorn County offices dedicated

By NEMS Daily Journal

CORINTH – Dozens of Alcorn County residents and elected officials turned out Monday for the dedication of new office space for the Board of Supervisors.
The renovated building that formerly housed the Alcorn County Jail has been converted for use by the county’s administrative staff as well as an enlarged public board meeting room and a smaller board room for executive sessions.
No final decision has been made on use of about 1,300 square feet of unfinished space, which may be completed as a community meeting room at a future date.
