NMMC to begin five-week seminar on coping with grief
North Mississippi Medical Center will begin a new cycle of its grief guidance series beginning Thursday from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the Helen Foster Auditorium at the Lee County Library in Tupelo.
The five-week series is intended for anyone who has lost a loved one and is put together by a multidisciplinary team made up of representatives from the hospital’s home health, pastoral care, social work and clinical quality departments.
The classes meet for five consecutive Thursdays and the topics to be covered include: Thursday, Shock and Denial; April 18, Anger and Bargaining; April 25, Guilt and Depression; May 2, Coping and Acceptance; and May 9, Holidays and Special Days.
