ABERDEEN – Dan Durham, former manager of North Lee County Water Association, must wait until May for sentencing.
Durham, 66, was due to learn his punishment at 3 p.m. Tuesday for admitting he falsified federal water quality reports, but all afternoon hearings scheduled in federal court were canceled.
District Judge Sharion Aycock reset his hearing for 2 p.m. May 16.
Durham faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
He pleaded guilty to one count last December.
In 2011, he was forced to resign his post amid employees’ allegations of corruption.
