JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — U.S. Rep. Alan Nunnelee, a Republican from Mississippi, has been named to the House Budget Committee.
Nunnelee, who represents Mississippi’s First Congressional District, also serves on the House Appropriations Committee.
Nunnelee will also serve as vice chairman of the Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee as well continuing to serve on the Agriculture and Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Subcommittees.
Nunnelee is serving his second term in the U.S. House. Before being elected to Congress, he served in the Mississippi Senate where he was chairman of the appropriations committee.
