CORINTH – A Corinth nurse has been indicted by a grand jury and arrested on three counts prescription fraud.
Rebecca Johnson, 38, recently turned herself in to the sheriff’s office, according to Attorney General Jim Hood.
The alleged crimes occurred while Johnson was employed as a licensed practical nurse at a care facility in Corinth. Hood said she is accused of stealing patient’s duragesic patches from a nearby facility and using them herself.
Johnson has been released on $5,000 bond. No court date has been set. If convicted, she faces up to 15 years behind bars.
