AMORY – Kenneth Sandy “Billy” Killian, 85, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born Oct. 4, 1926, to Walter Elbert Killian Sr. and Nora Sandy Killian in Monroe County.
Bill was a 22-year veteran of the United States Navy. He retired to Monroe County in 1968 and worked at Conoco/DuPont/Vista for almost 20 years before retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Aberdeen Church of Christ and cherished his church family.
Bill was a generous, caring and compassionate man who was willing to give someone the shirt off of his back even if it meant going without one for himself. He loved his family, church and his home at the Oak Tree Plantation in Amory.
Mr. Killian leaves a legacy of integrity, loyalty and faithfulness in every aspect of his life and was a fine example of a Christian man. He will be greatly missed.
Services will be at 11 a. m. today, Jan. 4, 2012, in the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with Minister Charles Tharp officiating. Burial will be in Beeks Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Paul Killian and wife, Margie, of Kosciusko and Andy Killian and wife, Susan, of Amory; eight grandchildren, Tonya Killian, Kenny Killian (Tara), Melissa Killian, Emily Killian, Meaghan Killian, Jennifer Hutson (Cody), Amy Killian (Luke Summerford) and Kathy Killian; six great-grandchildren, Austin, Tiana, Samuel, Andrea, Landon and Jacob.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Terry Mae Cantrell Killian; his parents, Walter Elbert Killian Sr. and Nora Sandy Killian; two brothers, William Andrew Killian and Walter Elbert Killian Jr.; three sisters, Mildred Roberts, Dorothy Howell and Sarah Agnes Fitzgerald; one great-grandson, Jonathan Abel Killian.
Pallbearers will be Cody Hutson, Luke Summerford, Kenny Killian, and deacons of Aberdeen Church of Christ.

GRENADA – Sara Keith Mohundro, 93, formerly of Memphis, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, at Grace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Grenada. She was born on April 8, 1918, in Tippah County to Haston and Ethel Wright Keith. She was a homemaker and a member of the Colonial Baptist Church in Memphis.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church near Walnut with Bro. Jack Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Church Cemetery. National Funeral Home of Grenada is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Ann McCoy (Bob) of Grenada and Judy Bailey of Olive Branch; one sister, Frankie Cross of Faulkner; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Richard Howard Mohundro; one daughter, Ruby Bell; and one brother, J.Y. Keith.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
TUPELO – Audie Sullivan Causey, 84, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a brief illness. Ms. Causey was born Sept. 3, 1927, to Mark and Tennie Sullivan of Nettleton.
A private parlor service will be at 11 a.m. today at Holland Funeral Directors, Tupelo Chapel, with Bro. Ben Raper officiating. Private burial will follow in Providence Cemetery in Nettleton. Holland Funeral Directors, Tupelo Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet Towery of Guntown; two grandchildren, Tonya Killough of Mooreville and Stephen Towery of Guntown; five great-grandchildren, Brandy, Micheal, Kara and Hayden Killough, and Shawn Lucas Towery; one sister, Annie Ellis Nichols of Richmond community; a special nephew, Eddie Sullivan of Tupelo; special friends and caregivers, Gwen and Billy Joe Holland of Plantersville.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Wayne and Ricky Causey; a grandson, Matthew Killough; one sister; and six brothers.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Towery, Eddie Sullivan, Billy Joe Holland, Steve Holland, Chip Cole and Mitchell Killough.

AMORY – Noel William Harmon, 71, died on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital. Born on Dec. 20, 1940, in Tupelo, he was a son of the late Orville and Dorothy Drake Harmon. He was a graduate of Amory High School, Class of 1958. He married Martha Jo Carroll on Dec. 31, 1985. Before retiring in 2004, he was a photographer who owned and operated Photo Connection. A member of North Boulevard Christian Church, he served as a deacon and a soloist until becoming disabled. Kind-hearted, his life was centered around his faith and family, especially his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, landscaping and gospel music, in particular The Gaithers and the Crabb Family.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at North Boulevard Christian Church with Bro. Ferman Anderson, Bro. Eddie Harlow and Bro. Billy Lansdell officiating. E.E. Pickle Funeral Home of Amory is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Jo Carroll Harmon of Amory; daughter, Amy Pennington (Eddie) of Amory; sons, Eddie Harlow (Karin) of Saltillo and Toby Harlow (Diana) of Fulton; brother, Neil Harmon of Colorado; grandchildren, Blake and Austin Pennington, Kelly, Chelsey, Caitlin and Jerzy Harlow, Kristen Williams and Will Harlow; and a special friend, Frank Smith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Harmon; grandson, Braiden Pennington; and special friend, Edgar Howell.

MANTACHIE – James Dalton Berryman, 77, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Mantachie and Itawamba county. He was a mechanic at Super Sagless for 38 years and took early retirement to take care of his wife. He loved hunting, fishing and camping with his children.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Waters Funeral Home in Baldwyn with Bro. Dexter Jones and Bro. Ike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Wilson (George) of Mantachie and Patricia Robbins (Norris) of Blue Springs; one son, Bobby Berryman of Mantachie; one sister, Christine Bunch of Mantachie; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lura Jean Berryman.

JACKSON – James Richard McKnight, 68, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, in East Baton Rouge Parish, La., while working with the Louisiana State Insurance Commission. Mr. McKnight was born July 11, 1943, in Calhoun County to David and Minnie McKnigh. He graduated from Delta State University with a degree in business administration in 1965. He moved to Jackson where he provided for his family until the day he died.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Thursday at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Jackson with a memorial service to follow. Dr. James Shull will officiate. Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra Reynolds McKnight; his son, Rick; his daughter, Leigh; two granddaughters, Brooke and Blaire; his brother Doyle; and three nieces and nephews.

RIPLEY – James W. Brady, 87, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at his home in Ripley. He was born March 27, 1924, to Joel Lee Brady and Mary Artelie Rutherford Brady. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and served as deacon for many years. He worked as a service station attendant. Mr. Brady was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II as a Seaman 1st Class.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Unity Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Barefield officiating. Burial will be in Unity Church Cemetery with military honors. Ripley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Tina “Tiny” Beavers Brady of Ripley; one daughter, Dana B. ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Homer Norvell, 90, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at the Muskingum County Home in Zanesville, Ohio, after an extended illness. He was born on April 27, 1921, to Chester and Etta Jones Norvell in Clover Bottom in Jackson County, Ky. He was a member of Crown Point Pentecostal Church in Ridgewood Heights, Ohio, where he frequently played the guitar and sang. In 1967 he and his wife, Geneva, moved to Zanesville and opened Beltone Hearing which later became Norvell’s Hearing. He was owner and president until 2006. Mr. Norvell was a longtime member of the Sons of Song singers. He was a loving husband and father, and remained close to his friends and family.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Routsong Funeral Home in Centerville, Ohio, with Rev. Bob Norvell, nephew of Mr. Norvell, officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Geneva Norvell; two sons, Merrill E. Norvell (Martha) of Belden and Bradley K. Norvell (Chris) of Zanesville, Ohio; five grandchildren, Bradley E. Norvell (Melissa) of Monks Corner, S.C., Renee’ McCown (Scott) of Amarillo, Texas, Jacob Norvell (Stephanie) of Dallas, Texas, Patrick Weatherford (Debra) of Booneville and Jennifer Curtis of Vicksburg; three sisters, Devonna Rose (Cecil), Shirley Angel and Frances Orrill; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

MEMPHIS – Annie Bell “Ann” Miller, 90, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. She was born Dec. 30, 1921, to Robert L. and Lula Ann Miller. She was retired from South Central Bell, where she was an operator. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis. She enjoyed painting, golf, theater, going to the opera, being involved in politics, and she loved her family.
