IUKA – Donnie L. Bray, 56, died Friday, June 24, 2011, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Burnsville Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Iuka.

J.W. ” Dub” Ewing
FULTON – J.W. “Dub” Ewing, 91, died Thursday, June 23, 2011. He was born in Itawamba on June 14, 1920, to Allen Ewing and Hattie Yarbrough. He was a member of the Calvary Praise and Worship Center in Tremont. He was an avid dancer and enjoyed fishing.
Services are 3 p.m. today at Calvary Praise and Worship Center in Tremont with Bro. Mark Barnett, Bro. Ray Stevens, Rayette Stevens, and Missy Kent officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters, Janice Strawbridge of Red Bay, Ala., Lisa Kent of Tremont and Tammie Rigual of Golden; six sons, Harvey Ewing of Haleyville; David Ewing of Fulton; Danny Ewing of Fife, Ala., Elvis Ewing of Fulton, Stoney Ewing of Fulton, and Jerry Ewing of Fulton; 36 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Reba Ewing in 1994; two sons, Charlie and Chucky; two daughters, Dorothy and Gillette; several brothers and sisters; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Adam Strawbridge, Jose Rigual III, Donny Lynn Ewing, Brad Ewing, Shawn Ewing, and Dustin Ewing.
Honorary pallbearers will be special friends.
Visitation time will continue until service time Saturday at Calvary Praise & Worship Center.
PONTOTOC – Henry Clay Rodgers, 93, died Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Graceland Care Center in New Albany. He was a charter member of West Heights Baptist Church, a retired rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, a World War II Marine veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 16. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed fishing, and a devoted father and friend.
Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at West Heights Baptist Church with Dr. David Hamilton and Rev. Ryan Rodgers officiating. Martin Rodgers will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the West Heights Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his two daughters, Peggy Lynn Rodgers (Gloria Lanoux) of Pontotoc and Betty Gail Kirk of Ripley; his son, Billy Clay Rodgers (Rhonda) of Pontotoc; four grandchildren, Charles “Chuck” Kirk III (Kristie), Brennan Kirk (Melissa), Martin Rodgers (Jennifer) and Ryan Rodgers; and six great-grandchildren, Dustin Schaefer, Duncan Schaefer, Andrew Mitchell Rodgers, Rebecca Grace Rodgers, Caleb Kirk and Olivia Joy Kirk; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; host of nieces and nephews and a special caregiver, Margaret Bynum.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lake Rodgers and Freddie Harriett Bouchillon Rodgers; his wife, Janice Charlene Rodgers; a sister, Louise Rodgers Bland and his two brothers, Whitson Rodgers and Harry Kenneth Rodgers.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at West Heights Baptist Church.

FULTON – Linda Carol Hood Hodges, 56, died Thursday, June 23, 2011, at her home. She was born March 28, 1955, to Earl Eugene and Geneva Irene Waddle Hood. She worked for Tippah County Electric Power Association and as a hospice CNA for Heritage Home Healthcare before becoming disabled. She was a caregiver who enjoyed helping people and was a loving grandmother and special aunt. Services will be today at 2 p.m. at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Rodney Livingston officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Fulton.
Survivors include one son, Gary Daniel Bobo (Paula Gale) of Fulton; one sister, Patricia Diane Swords of New Albany; one brother, Larry Gene Hood of Jackson; a special friend, Robin Hauser of Tremont; one granddaughter, Serenity Rain Bobo; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Earl Hood; and the father of her son, Gary William Bobo.
Pallbearers will be Greg Stewart, Michael Ramey, Nathan Robinson, Allen Stewart, Robin Hauser, and David Higgins.

RIPLEY – Georgia Wilena Bullock, 76, died Friday, June 24, 2011, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was born July 14, 1934, to the late William Reese and Mary Lee McClain Reese. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church in the Dry Creek Community. She was a retired bus driver for Pine Grove School.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Geuss and Bro. Paul Adams officiating. Burial will be in Palmer Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Odene Bullock of Dumas; one daughter, Vicky Meeks (Billy) of Ripley; one son, Jimmy Bullock of Booneville; one brother, Curtis Rees of Durham, N.C.; three grandchildren, Chasity Street (Chris), and Jennifer Vick all of Dumas, Ashley Britt (Judd) of Ripley; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Stan Kuykendall, Charles Reese, Rex Bullock, Steadman Estes, Lee Smith, and Gene Dillard.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers and sisters.

BOONEVILLE – James Thurman “Jim” Yancey, 69, died Friday, June 24, 2011, at his home.
