Gara Bogue
ETTA – Gara Gwynn Bogue, 74, died Friday, May 11, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union County. He was born March 1, 1938, in Union County to Isom Berry “I.B.” Bogue and Loy Robbins Bogue. He served in the Mississippi National Guard. He was in the furniture business and a farmer. He loved his church, family and friends, hunting and fishing, playing dominoes. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at the Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvey Reeves and the Rev. Keith Benefield officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery. United Funeral Service in New Albany is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by three sons, Jerry Bogue (Jan) of Booneville, Gerald Bogue (Lisa) and Brad Bogue (Julie) both of Etta; a brother, Robby Bogue of Thaxton; seven grandchildren, Brandy Hamilton (Brooks), Case Bogue, Emily Baecher (Lance), Bailey Bogue, Riley Bogue, Easton Bogue and Alyssa Bogue; four great-grandchildren, Katie Brook, Allie Grace, Hayden Hamilton, and Emerie Baecher; and brother-in-law, Joe Foley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Schwanda Foley.
Pallbearers will be Chris Russell, Gary Harrison, Scott Maxey, Phil Bogue, Mike Reeves and James Wallace Little. Honorary pallbearers will be Cliff Jackson, Robert Goggans, E.C. Jackson, Narshall Weeden and Quince Stroud.
In honor of Bogue, United Funeral Service Inc. will fly the flag of the United States Army at the funeral home during visitation and service.

Josephine Terry
BLUE SPRINGS – Josephine “Nanny” Terry, 84, died Sunday, May 13,2012, at her residence. She was born in Bell County, Kent. She moved to Blue Springs from Ohio in 1995. She was a bartender for over 30 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Bro. Terry Falkner and Larry Baine officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Kesler Funeral Home of Baldwyn is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include daughter, Joann Morris of Pontotoc; granddaughters, Christine (Larry) Courtney of Blue Springs and Aptil (Ryan) Mitchell of Sherman; grandson, Donald Morris of Pontotoc; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Laura Fuson; husband, Tom Terry; son, Scotty Terry; grandson, Tom Morris; great-grandson, Connor Wright; and infant son.
Pallbearers are Kenny Bennett, Kurt Brown, Kirk Smith, Waylon Reeves, Robert Terry and Ricky Terry.
Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Church.
Leroy Hinds
RATLIFF – Leory Hinds, 84, died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Darlington Oaks Hospice Facility in Verona. He was a long time employee for Vend Foods. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday of Waters Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eddie Boutwell, Bro. Rodney Lindsey and Bro. Hugh Duzsa officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bobbie Hinds of Ratliff; son, Doyle (Sharon) of Ratliff; sister, Virginia McMillian of Ratliff; sister-in-law, Lorene Hinds of Tupelo; brother, Leonard (Helen) Hinds of Tupelo; two grandchildren, Ashley Hinds and Jessica Hinds; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Ima McCarthy Hinds; brother, Ralph Hinds; brother-in-law, John McMillian; and nephew, Basil Hinds.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Letson, James Hinds, John M. Smith, John Boy McFerrin, Phil McMillian, Guyton Hinds, Bruce Farley and Hartis Hinds.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today at Waters Funeral Home.

AMORY – Eileen Fellows, 74, died Sunday, May 13, 2012, a Gilmore Memorial Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Lee Memorial Funeral Home.
Ottie Coleman
PONTOTOC – Ottie Coleman, 96, died Friday, May 11, 2012, at Sunshine Health Care in Pontotoc. She was born May 8, 1916, to John and Jennie Morris Graham. She was a member of Oak Dale Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed crocheting and quilting.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Browning Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Winston Ross and Bro. Troy Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Sand Springs Cemetery.
She is survived by one sister-in-law, Alta Graham of Thaxton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. Coleman in 1992; her parents; three brothers, George, Buck, and Norris Graham; and five sisters, Eunice Dorrough, Della Caples, Lella Sneed, and Mamie Willard.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Visitation will be until service time today at the funeral home.

CALHOUN CITY – John Allen Rimmer, 70, died Saturday, May 12, 2012. at his residence. He was born Nov. 15, 1941, to Mack and Lila Rimmer. He was a retired industrial worker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Waymon Betts officiating. Internment is at Crossroads Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Rimmer of Calhoun City; sons, Steve Rimmer of Arkansas, Johnny Johnson (Tracy) of Arkansas, Thomas Rimmer of Grenada and Billy Rimmer of Grenada; daughters, Donna Radtke of Texas, Chasta Rimmer of Greenwood; Denise Rimmer of Derma and Pamela Welch of Grenada; sisters, Dorris Weeks of Calhoun City, Mary Broughman of Bruce and Frances James of Calhoun City; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Teresa Hood; four brothers; and two sisters.
Pallbearers are Kenneth Rimmer, Jimmy Clemons, Jeff Rimmer, Robert Gary, Robert Taylor and James Broughman.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.

UNIVERSITY – William Earl Sheffield, 48, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at his residence.
