OKOLONA – Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi Inc. needs help in solving several burglaries that have occurred in the Okolona area recently.
All told, five break-ins have been reported since the last of March.
The first occurred Saturday, March 23. Someone broke into the Rose Hill Plant, No. 1, and took money from a vending machine.
On April 23, the Rose Hill Plant, No. 2 was burglarized. That vending machine also was torn open and the money taken. In both of these burglaries, the same method of entering the building was used.
The next night, Seville Manufacturing was burglarized. In this burglary, the suspects gained entry to the building through the roof and vandalized a vending machine.
On Wednesday, May 1, A.M. Furniture in Okolona was entered through the front door. The suspect took a yellow and green tool box containing money.
The next day, the Upholstery Department of Ross Hill Plant No. 2 was entered. This time, the suspect fled the scene when an alarm was triggered.
