Ross Bjork, who has spent the last two years as athletics director at Western Kentucky, appears to be the successor for Ole Miss AD Pete Boone, according to multiple media reports.
An official announcement on the new athletics director at Ole Miss could come as early as Wednesday.
Rebelgrove.com reported Tuesday evening that the new AD will be Ross Bjork, who currently holds the same position at Western Kentucky.
Bjork, 39, has had previous stops at Missouri, Miami and UCLA, and fund-raising is prominent in his background.
Bjork, 39, was hired as AD at Western Kentucky in 2010 after spending five years in athletic administration at UCLA, where he focused on capital fundraising. He also worked at Miami and Missouri.
A native of Dodge City, Kansas, he graduated in 1995 from Emporia State University.
The Daily Journal will have more on this story, both tonight at djournal.com and in Wednesday’s newspaper.
