IUKA – A Tishomingo woman was killed in a three-vehicle accident in Iuka on Friday night.

Jullie Deloris Moore, 68, of Tishomingo, was traveling west on Paul Edmondson Drive in a Ford Escort, attempting to cross Veterans Memorial Drive, when she pulled in front of a Chevrolet 2500 King Cab truck, which was traveling north on Veterans Memorial Drive.

Moore was pronounced dead on the scene. Her passenger, Dorothy Gray, was transported to the Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth.

Tishomingo County Coroner Mack Wilemon said the two women had just left the Tishomingo County Food Depot, a local ministry, where they had been packing groceries. Wilemon mentioned it was raining and the roads were wet.

A third vehicle, attempting to merge into the northbound lane of Veterans Memorial Drive, was also involved in the accident.

No one else was injured.

The wreck happened around 7 p.m.
